FOR THE SYRUP

  • 500 gr water
  • 500 gr white crystal sugar
  • 50 gr honey
  • lemon juice of half a lemon
  • 10 drops BIOXYM Mandarine Essential Oil

FOR THE DOUGH

  • 50 gr medium grain rice
  • 500 gr water
  • 330 gr mix of water and rice
  • 4 gr yeast
  • 100 gr water
  • 25 gr Concentrated Mandarine juice
  • 230 gr MILLS OF CRETE All-purpose flour
  • 15 chopped mint leaves

Small donuts with mandarine and mint

For the syrup, in a cooking pot, we put the water, sugar, lemon, and honey and boil for 10 minutes and then we leave it to cool. When it’s ready, we add the mandarine essential oil. For the first stage of the dough, we boil the rice for about 20 minutes in a closed cooking pot, and then we add the mixture to the blender. For the second stage, we mix all the ingredients until they homogenize, and then we leave them to rest. We fry them in sunflower oil at 180 degrees until they start to turn golden. We put them in a utensil with a paper towel and we let them for 2 minutes. We put them on a serving plate and we pour them with the syrup.
